Your marketing strategy could use a little freshening up.

It seems like you know what your marketing could be, but you need some help getting there. That is totally okay; you’re not alone, and marketing isn’t easy! It requires the right strategy, platforms, time, care, and nurturing to work well.

So what does that mean? We recommend refreshing the foundations of your brand before implementing an entirely new strategy. Re-define the why of what you do, who’s behind it, and what you want people to know. Once you have a strong starting point, building the right strategy for your business will follow.

Here are some tools to help you build a strong marketing strategy. 👇

1. Clearly identify your “Why”

Go back to the beginning of when you wanted to start your business – and remember ‘why’. What did you get into this for?

To hear more about finding your ‘why’, check out the email we just sent to you. You will find a video from our CEO, Sally, going more in-depth on the topic.

2. Create Purposeful Content

Remember, you can’t just put content out there for the sake of “activity” – there needs to be a purpose. Make sure it’s relevant, has value, and tells the audience what you do and why you do it.

3. A Few of Our Favorite Marketing Tools

We know marketing can be daunting, but there are a lot of great tools out there for you to use. They will not only take a lot off your plate (like social media posting) but also make the work you have to do much more straightforward.

We wrote a full blog with 12 of our favorite tools that may be helpful if you’re getting started! Check it out under our blogs tab.

4. Customer Experience

Lastly, we want to remind you that understanding who your customers are and how you stack up with your competitor is crucial. To focus your brand’s message and own your market, find what resonates with your ideal customer and deliver an exceptional experience to them.

Look at your brand’s positioning, messaging, and impact.

Research shows that more than 60% of people will leave a brand after ONE bad experience. Having a frictionless and effortless customer experience will help you build loyalty, engagement, reputation, and growth.

After all, we know too well that it costs much more to get a new customer than to keep the ones you already have.
